Scripture Text (NRSV)
6:12 Wisdom is radiant and unfading, and she is easily
discerned by those who love her, and is found by those who seek her.
6:13 She hastens to make herself known to those who desire
her.
6:14 One who rises early to seek her will have no difficulty,
for she will be found sitting at the gate.
6:15 To fix one's thought on her is perfect understanding, and
one who is vigilant on her account will soon be free from care,
6:16 because she goes about seeking those worthy of her, and
she graciously appears to them in their paths, and meets them in every
thought.

Although I won't be preaching on this, I just find these words
absolutely beautiful. Who could not want a God who is there for us as
she is? . . . who meets us in every thought.

O Sophia, so beautiful it is you I desire with my whole being and is
you who gives me yourself as I open my arms to greet you.
She is the essense of the wise virgins "who are free from care" for
the are always ready to greet her at the gate. She and the Bridegroom
are one.

What does it mean to be "worthy" of wisdom? Since we don't have this
part of the canon in our protestant tradition it is hard to know where
to look for this context. Any help?
